Kangana Ranaut ‘waiting to be in jail soon’, hints over Aamir Khan’s silence

<p>Actor Kangana Ranaut on Friday said that “the government (is) trying to put me in jail” after a complaint was filed against the actor at a Mumbai court for “spreading hate and breaking the brotherhood, integrity of the country” through “provoking hate speeches” given by her. The actor took to Twitter and said, “I worship people like Savarkar, Neta Bose and Rani of Jhansi. Today the government trying to put me in jail that makes me feel confident of my choices, waiting to be in jail soon n go through same miseries my idols were subjected to, it will give a meaning to my life, Jai Hind.” The complainant, a Mumbai based lawyer, advocate Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh, has accused Ranaut of attacking not just the Maharashtra Police, and government in connection with the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, but of also “promoting enmity amongst our country people for her political gain”. Following the post on the micro-blogging site, the 'Queen' actor posted another tweet in which she tagged Aamir Khan. “As Rani Laxmibai's fort was broken, my house was demolished, just as Savarkar Ji was put in jail for rebellion, all efforts are being made to send me to jail too, can some one ask from the Intolerance Gang how much they have suffered in this intolerant country?@aamir_khan,”</p>

Kangana Ranaut, Rangoli Chandel summoned by police; sedition charges in FIR

<p>Mumbai Police on Wednesday issued notices to Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel, asking them to appear before cops next week to record their statements in connection with a case filed against them for allegedly promoting enmity between communities through their remarks, an official said. The Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate's court had on Saturday ordered the police to investigate a complaint filed by Munawwar Ali Sayyed, a Bollywood casting director and fitness trainer, which referred to Ranaut's and her sister's tweets and other statements. On the directions of the court, Bandra Police had registered a First Information Report against Ranaut and her sister under IPC sections 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, etc), 295A (deliberate acts hurting religious sentiments) and 124-A (sedition), 34 (common intention), the police official said.</p>

SRK, Salman, Aamir, KJo & 34 others sue 2 news channels; Kangana issues dare

<p>Four film bodies and 34 Bollywood producers have approached the Delhi High Court seeking to restrain Republic TV and Times Now from making or publishing allegedly 'irresponsible, derogatory and defamatory remarks.' The civil suit names Republic TV's Arnab Goswami and Pradeep Bhandari & Times Now's Rahul Shivshankar & Navika Kumar. The lawsuit has been filed by four Bollywood industry associations and 34 leading production houses including those owned by Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor and Rohit Shetty among others. They have also sought to restrain these news channels from interfering with the right to privacy of persons associated with the industry. The suit was filed in the wake of these channels using 'highly derogatory words' for Bollywood such as 'dirt', 'filth', 'scum', 'druggies' and expressions such as 'it is Bollywood where the dirt needs to be cleaned.' ‘File FIR against Kangana Ranaut’: Karnataka court over ‘anti-farmer’ tweet

<p>A court in Tumakuru district of Karnataka on Friday directed the police to register an FIR against actress Kangana Ranaut on her recent tweet allegedly targeting farmers protesting the farm laws. Based on a complaint by a lawyer L Ramesh Naik, the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court directed the inspector of Kyathasandra police station to register an FIR against the actress. The court said the complainant had filed an application under section 156(3) of the CrPC for investigation. The actress had tweeted on September 21 from her Twitter handle @KanganaTeam: “People who spread misinformation and rumours about CAA that caused riots are the same people who are now spreading misinformation about Farmers bill and causing terror in the nation, they are terrorists. Sushant case: Mumbai top cop ‘not surprised’; Sena sees plot after AIIMS report

<p>Days after the findings of the forensic panel of AIIMS in the Sushant Singh Rajput case were reportedly revealed, the Shiv Sena alleged a conspiracy against the Maharashtra government, the Mumbai police, and the Thackeray family. The AIIMS panel found that Sushant died due to suicide, and not murder. No injuries other than those of hanging, were found on his body, said reports quoting the AIIMS findings. AIIMS had been asked by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to vet the autopsy report by Mumbai's Cooper hospital. Reacting to the reports, Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh said that he was not at all surprised. Apparently commenting on Sushant father's lawyer's demand for a fresh forensic exam, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that if people didn't trust even the CBI now, then he was speechless. <p>Sushant Singh Rajput's family lawyer said that he will request the CBI to constitute a fresh forensic team. The forensic team of AIIMS asserted that Sushant Singh died by suicide. Rajput's family lawyer Vikas Singh called the AIIMS report inconclusive. He wrote on Twitter, “Highly perturbed with AIIMS report. Going to request CBI Director to constitute a fresh Forensic team. How could AIIMS team give a conclusive report in the absence of the body,that too on such shoddy post mortem done by Cooper hospital wherein time of death also not mentioned.” AIIMS team was roped in by the CBI to reassess Sushant Singh's autopsy report. Starring Ishaan Khatter (Blackie) and Ananya Panday (Pooja) in the lead roles, the film is a story of two childhood sweets who have to part ways due to circumstances but they meet again as adults and their story takes a twist. Directed by Maqbool Khan, the film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat as the lead villain Yusuf Chikna. While the film lacks anything concrete to hold onto your attention, it's only some performances that act as the saving grace. Khaali Peeli is now available on Zee Plex.</p>
